Information

The Nymphalinae is a subfamily of the superfamily Nymphalidae. In Nymphalinae, the Limenitidinae are sometimes included here as a tribe Limenitidini, while the Melitaeini are occasionally considered a distinct subfamily Melitaeinae. In this sub family are species that are well known such as Admiral butterflies, Lady butterflies and other Vanessids.
