Information

Aluctoidea is the superfamily of many-plumed moths. Most of the roughly 160 described species are in the family Alucitidae; the much smaller Tineodidae is sometimes merged therein, making the Alucitoidea monotypic. But I decided to place it under its own superfamily for the purpose of this website.
